Boyfriend Material is a Sydney-based indie trio. Formed in early 2024, the band has wasted no time making their mark, writing, recording, and releasing two singles in their first year, with a third set for release in March 2025.
Known for their fuzzy guitars, layered harmonies, and heartfelt lyrics, Boyfriend Material crafts songs that blend raw emotion with undeniable energy. Their sound comes to life in their home studio, where they capture the highs and lows of heartbreak, self-discovery, and resilience.
With over 20 live gigs under their belt, they’ve built a reputation for their on-stage chemistry and ability to connect with a crowd. Now, with a debut EP in the works, they’re ready to take their music to the next level—proving that break-up anthems have never sounded so good.
